Adventure Courses

We expect every group to have its own aims and aspirations during an adventure course in Snowdonia. We therefore always discuss specific requirements with group leaders before committing to a programme of activities. The following sample programmes, however, offer an indication of the range and scope of our activity provision:

1-day Llanberis Adventure:
Meet at Surf-Lines in Llanberis – choose canoeing or kayaking on Llyn Padarn
Afternoon – rock climbing/abseiling or mountain walking.
Return to Surf Lines – review activities and depart

1-day Ocean Adventure:
Meet at Surf-Lines in Llanberis or at Trearddur Bay, Anglesey
Morning – coastal kayaking in Rhoscolyn or Trearddur Bay
Afternoon – coasteering at a West Anglesey venue
Return to Surf-Lines – review activities and depart

We are also happy to provide half-day activity sessions for school and college groups. The most popular choices are canoeing/kayaking from our lakeshore base in Llanberis, rock climbing at various venues in the Llanberis valley and coasteering on the west coast of Anglesey.

2-day Activity Programme:
Day 1 - Canoeing Adventure day. Open canoe journey on the Menai Strait or Conwy estuary, coastal kayaking on the west coast of Anglesey, or introduction to white water kayaking
Day 2 - Mountain Adventure day. Plan and complete a quality mountain day among the peaks of Northern Snowdonia, or spend the day learning and developing climbing/abseiling skills.

5-day Activity Programme:
All the activities of our 2-day programme and more, plus the option of an overnight expedition – mountain based, open canoeing or coastal kayaking. We also offer other activities, including coasteering and mountain biking.

Adventure Plus
We are able to offer all our activity programmes at a more advanced level for more experienced groups. If you’re looking for a dedicated sea kayaking, white water or mountaineering adventure course, call us to discuss your requirements. Our skills courses and expeditions are an indication of the available options.

Surf-lines Adventures: Snowdonia-wide
In addition to courses at our Llanberis base, we are very happy to run an activity programme at venues close to your accommodation base. In recent years we have worked with school and college groups throughout North Wales – including Anglesey, the Llyn Peninsula, the Conwy valley and further afield.
