Based in Llanberis Snowdonia, we are proud to offer an exciting range of adventure days and weekends, specialist training courses, development programmes for schools and colleges, event support and corporate training, plus expeditions in the UK and overseas.
We created Surf-Lines Adventures to share the rewards that we have found in the outdoors – personal challenge, adventure, an appreciation of the natural environment, and the team spirit of achieving new goals. Canoeing and mountaineering are wonderful ways to experience these rewards, combining new skills, travel, exploration, adventure and an element of risk.

From the outset – in the summer of 2000 – we have aimed to deliver high-quality adventure courses in Snowdonia, combining our experienced and enthusiastic staff team, excellent equipment and superb venues to produce a memorable outdoor experience for all our customers. The consistent feedback that we receive each year suggests that we are getting it right!

Nick and Phil, Surf-Lines directors, have been in the outdoor industry all their working lives, with a combined thirty-five years of experience – including outdoor education centres, national training establishments and private businesses. With most of those years spent here in Snowdonia, their experience and ability to organise a programme of high-quality adventure courses is unrivalled.

All our staff members are experienced, highly qualified outdoor practitioners with a passion for sharing the excitement and enthusiasm that they have for their sports. All hold National Governing Body qualifications for canoeing and mountaineering, in most cases well beyond the basic requirements of the work. Their expedition experience includes Alpine climbing and white water kayaking, transatlantic sailing and sea kayaking in remote corners of the globe – including Chile, Alaska, New Zealand and Mexico. This experience and enthusiasm for coaching and guiding will help to make your Surf-Lines Adventure an unforgettable experience.
