How to find us
Llanberis is well connected to the rest of the UK by the motorway-standard A55 that connects North Wales with the M56/M6 road system. Typical journey times are listed below: Liverpool 1½ hours Manchester 2 hours Birmingham 2½ hours London 4 hours From the Bangor exit on the A55 (junction …), Llanberis is well signposted and only a further ten-minute drive away. Llanberis is also accessible via the A5 – driving through Betws y Coed, continue until Capel Curig and take the left turn signposted for Llanberis. The village is a further fifteen-minute drive away, over the Llanberis Pass. Our lakeshore centre is just off the main road at the north entrance to the village (Caernarfon direction). Turn off the main road at the “Surf-Lines” sign – we’re just 100m down this minor road, next to the lake. Some courses start away from our base – we’ll advise you at the time of booking if that’s the case. If travelling by rail, Bangor is our nearest station, situated on the main London-Holyhead line. From Bangor, a fifteen-minute taxi ride takes you to Llanberis. There is also a local bus service from Bangor.
