RYA VHF Short Range Certificate
Surf-Lines regularly plays host to visiting sea schools providing VHF Short Range Certificate courses. The course will take place over one day, leading successful students to the issue of the SRC (Short Range Certificate). This in turn enables students to license their handheld or vessel mounted VHF radio sets. The course is a pre-requesite for British Canoe Union 4 & 5* Sea and a must have for anyone operating their own VHF radio sets within the coastal environment.
