Sea Swim at Trearddurr Bay
This Thursday Mary headed up to Trearddurr Bay with three keen swimmers for a dip in the stunning waters of the Anglesey coastline. Meeting at Trearddurr Bay Lifeboat station the swimmers had a quick safety briefing, got kitted up in their wetsuits and set off accross the bay.
The clarity of the water was amazing with sea creatures visible everywhere. The swimmers made for the existing buoys and swam a square course around the bay. A little bit of swell and a minor jellyfish sting provided a little excitment adding to the sense of adventure.
As a bit of a sneak preview we’re planning some sea swim sessions in the Menai Straits and we reccomend getting involved and getting a bit of salt water experience beforehand. Check out our sea swim dates to get involved!
